US AID initiated and supported a project to suggest a New Land Titling Registration system for Land and Built property titling in the state of Delhi. Sudhir Vohra was one of the primary contributors to this project. One of the aims of the exercise was to move from the presumptive (document based) titling system to a conclusive system, where legacy documents would be stored digitally in a quick retrieval system, and which could result in the formation of a Titling Authority with adequate legal backing while maintaining the sanctity of the applicable mandates of the Transfer of property Act and Registration Act etc.
