This is one of the several assignment involving local area planning and redevelopment which the practice has worked on pursuant to the Master Plan of Delhi having changed from its earlier top downwards approach to the possible bottom upwards approach. The assignment involved working with stakeholders and citizens on the ground; isolating and focusing on issues which had not been planned for earlier during the previous regimes of planning. As democracy grows, albeit with its problems, issues of city governance emerge. This project was a learning in both governance, and of how to work with stakeholders in a redevelopment environment .
