The first drive through Mc Donald’s restaurant in India, opened 2001, was designed by the practice in a building which had been built by a fuel company and had remained unused for some time . The challenge was to convert it into a typical brand image of a Mc Donald’s drive through unit – an branding which was familiar with foreign customers who would be travelling on the highway between New Delhi and Agra , a famous town in Northern India as the TAJ MAHAL destination. Design package included architectural remodeling of the building, interiors, all MEP services, and landscape design services.
