Constructed in South Delhi, this Residential development consists on a dozen high end apartments built on a one acre land parcel located on a very noisy highway leading out from Delhi to Mathura, UP. The building has features which surpace most green building norms - All the outer walls are made of a sandwich of AAC blocks with a 100 mm thick layer of expanded polystyrene slabs in the sandwich gap , triple glazed windows on the noisy Mathura Road side , and double glazed on the other sides .
The project uses construction technologies which ensure a very small carbon footprint , and has resulted in savings of power to the tune of almost 75 % from traditionally constructed pre 2015 projects , while matching the aspirations of the times - Italian flooring in the public areas , LED lighting fixtures , hardwood flooring in the bedrooms , gypsum false ceilings etc . It was designed mainly as a high end rental housing scheme with elements of service apartments thrown in, and was completed in 2015.
