SVC has been in the practice of architecture since 1980. The last three decades have been a journey of constant experimentation and research into
all the aspects which traditionally encompass an architectural practices’ life cycle – the firm was lucky to launch itself into the tourism and hospitality industry beginning 1980 – thereby learning form industrial clientele well before the traditional residential practice developed . During these decades of constant research and investigation of ideas and design philosophies , the common string which has run through the necklace of ideas is the urge to design buildings which fit into the context of both the geography of the site , as well as use it has to be put to . At SVC , we have often resisted the pressures which are exerted to build buildings in line with the fashion of the times , and have , thus managed to practice architecture which is embodied with permanence , value , and the belief that it should stand the test of time.
