Conservation & Restoration

This area of work is an exciting new arena which SVC has begun working on beginning 2005. Projects extend from hundred year old colonial buildings to fourteenth century forts and palaces – buildings of both heritage value and archeological structures .A notable recent project is the Ranvas part of the Ach Fort at Nagaur, Rajasthan . Work executed include repairs and restoration to existing structures , and the construction of some new blocks needed for the development of a hotel within the Fort premises.

SVC has developed the skills of both design as well as project management of such assignments . Conservation and restoration projects needed special training to be imparted to site engineers and working crews , as also identification of skills in local artisans who have been taught to combine their skills with modern computer aided techniques created by SVC
