Hospitality Design & Advisory

SVC’s advisory and project design work in the Hospitality Design segment has been a traditional backbone of the firm’s advisory work since 1980 – though this area of work is not too prominently visible as it is “ behind the scenes “ in many projects .

The firm was instrumental in creating evaluation formats for the privatization of 32 ITDC hotels in 1993 ; working out an evaluation technique for infusion of equity of the Meridian Hotel in New Delhi , creating methodologies for cost control of the Trident group of hotels in 2000 , and a host of similar assignments which emanated out of the deep and detailed knowledge it had of the Hospitality Design industry it has been working with since 1980 . Assignments range from Research and analysis to Food service and Industrial Kitchen planning and design – an area which needed specialist skills in the industry.

Food service and Industrial Kitchen planning assignments have been successfully completed for industrial canteens in Maruti Udyog , Mother Dairy , many auto manufacturing companies , the Mehrangarh Fort complex at Jodhpur , and about a hundred restaurants scattered all over the country ., in addition to the Food service facilities which the firm designs in the Hotel projects built by it.

Interior Design for the Hotel industry is another area of work which the firm enjoys visibility in – SVC now have a separate group of professionals who service this traditional client base which has been the firm’s forte since three decades.
